
Emily Emond
​
Emily Marguerite Emond was born in Bowie, Maryland, USA, in 1996.
She received her Associates degree in art at Broward College with highest honors and her Bachelor of Fine Arts in studio art at the University of Central Florida with cum laude honors. Emond has taught art at the Coral Springs Museum of Art and Young at Art Museum to all ages.

Emond experiments with mixed media, photography, videography, photo stop motion, and installation to express her message.
Using photography as her primary medium, Emond creates work about epilepsy and neurosurgery that both expresses her personal experiences and brings awareness to this misunderstood condition. To document these experiences she utilizes the events, documents, objects and testimonials that come with this life.

Artist Statement
